Winter Tests in Spain and Italy

In the frames of the winter practice plan "Yakhnich Motorsport" had three training sessions abroad: in Cartagen, Almeria and Misano. All the tasks given by the coach were successfully fulfilled by the girls in Spain.

In Misano where our racers are taking part in Trofeo Amotori at the beginning of May Nadezhda Yakhnich started work with her new bike Yamaha R6. Together with the coach and mechanic she made necessary adjustments and tested new tyres on which the team is going to perform in Italian competitions this season. Besides that Natasha and Nadja took part in two races: Lady Cup (II and III places) and STK-600 (Yakhnich entered the prize-winning Top-10).

Natasha Lyubimova: "I would like to thank our team for work at the session in Almeria. The guys adjusted my bike perfectly so I was able to record very good time. At the first trainings in Mizano with a slightly injured arm and on the tyres unfamiliar to me I showed the result which was one second better than my final time last year. I am satisfied with my practice and hope for a speedy recovery!"

 

Nadja Yakhnich: "It was my longest training session abroad. The rain race STK-600 left a good impression. This very race was the most important for me on Mizano track which I can't call my favourite one!  Throughout the race I was fighting with the other pilots and managed to hold my prize-winning position".

On April 2-4 the girls are going to Misano again in order to continue their practice.
