MUGELLO REVIVAL

During the CIV stage in Mugello, last week-end, it was organized a nice event with many famous previous champions. A dinner on Saturday, to stay all together remembering the old times and the thousand stories of old races, and then on Sunday, all together on the truck, to have five enthusiastic laps taking the applause of all spectators.

 

“Our” Randy Mamola was the guest star of this event, together his good friends Luca Cadalora (three times world champion), Alex Gramigni, Virginio Ferrari, Loris Reggiani, Doriano Romboni, Marcello Lucchi, Fabrizio Pirovano, Leaondro Becheroni, Maurizio Vitali, Walter and Cristiano Migliorati (father and son), Fabio Biliotti (father of the recent winner of Coppa Dei Due Paesi Stage in Misano), Massimo Broccoli, Dario Marchetti, Roberto Locatelli and Ezio Gianola.

So many world champion titles, so many stories to remember so many “fights” that reborn in the five astonishing laps. And some tears was seen, looking Luca Cadalora and Randy Mamola fight as eigtheen years old riders, riding, respectively, the Team Italia Yamaha R6 and the Yakhnich Motorsport R6 of Dakota Mamola!
