We say – Thank you!

Summing up the first ever Russian round of SBK Yakhnich Motorsprot wishes to express  its gratitude to the international crew of marshals and paramedics who worked for over 6 days during the event.

Motorcycle racing is extremely dynamic and might be mostly traumatic for the riders and other participants. Extra responsibility for the staff puts a World Championship status and live TV broadcasting atmosphere with half a billion viewers.

Never before motorsport events in Russia required such a large number of highly qualified marshals and medical staff at the circuit.

Moscow Raceway

The total number of personnel providing sports and medical safety during the event was at 400 people including: 190 Russian marshals, 70 Italian marshals brought by Gentlemen’s Motor Club from Misano and Vallelunga, 70 local paramedics and 20 doctors.

Starting from the first training sessions for the staff on Tuesday Aug-21st and till the race day on Sunday Aug-26 crew of marshals and medical staff conducted constant work to improve safety on the circuit.

That is why the International FIM Jury appreciated the quality of the sports and medical organization for Russian round of SBK.

We would like to thank Moscow Raceway permanent staff, Russian Motorcycle Federation and most importantly - all the people at the track and medical posts for their dedicated and professional work!
