Results of the 1 Qualification WSS in Imola

The 7th Round of the World Supersport in Imola started magnificent for the Russian team Yakhnich Motorsport: Sam Lowes dominated during all day and topping the timesheets two times and got best lap of Enzo & Dino Ferrari. Vladimir Leonov had to sit in the box most of the first session because of technical problems.

Sam Lowes: “Although I hasn’t won here yet, but I like this track. I felt comfortable  during the session. We quickly found good settings for rare clip. Waiting for tomorrow!”

Claudio Corsetti, general manager: “It’s really very unusual problem apparently because of vibration weakened the contact terminal of the tuning cable. In sport bikes all gathered in a compact and fits tighly. Bared wire touched carboxylic facing and immediately initiated locking and ignition. We know that Vladimir could show good result, it’s his track”.
