Saturday February 22. Qualification SSP

The qualification of the class Supersport passed under non-stable weather conditions. It was interrupted by red and white flags. MV Agusta Reparto Corse - YAKHNICH MOTORSPORT Team's riders Jules Cluzel and Vladimir Leonov finished it at 4 and 15 places respectively.

Jules Cluzel: «We have a significant progress in the afternoon. We've tried different setting in the morning but in my opinion it was not the right direction. Only in the afternoon I figured out how to ride fast in this track. I've said many times that Assen is not my favorite track so I am satisfied with the result. For today the main thing is that I understood what to do to ride fast. We are working under set up and we’ll try some new thing on the worm-up. For example, we are trying to improve consistency of the clutch and electronics, If we improve a little more we’ll be perfect”.

Vladimir Leonov: “We work hard to improve the bike. To tell the truth, it’s far from my ideal. Definitely it has a great potential but we still have a lot to do. During the morning free practice we’ve improved the lap time because of some positive decisions we’ve made. During the qualification we continued the course taken in the morning. 15 minutes before the end of the session at the crucial moment for us it started to rain. For this reason we were unable to show our true potencial”.
