Opening of the motorcycle season
On April, 18 the most long-awaited and large-scale Spring event in the life of metropolitan bikers took place - the club "Night wolves" organized the traditional opening ceremony. As usual representatives of the motormovement, racers, bikers and ordinary motorcycle fans from different parts of Russia got together in Mnevniki on the territory of The Bike-Centre. The pilots of "Yakhnich Motorsport" Nadja Yakhnich and Natalya Lubimova couldn't miss this event either and took part in the festive ceremony as special guests representing Russian MR sport.
In the afternoon at the "Sexton" club the girls gave interviews to leading TV-channels and made pictures with friends and guests of the event against the background of cool BMWs 1000rr kindly provided to our pilots by BMW GROUP RUS. By the way, having tested the bikes during a traditional ride in a column of motorcyclists from Mnevniki to the Vorobjevy Hills escorted by the motor battalion of Moscow traffic police, the sportswomen went into raptures. The girls pointed to the German quality and light three-colour design which made them noticeable during the ride in the column.
After traditional interviews and photo-sessions on the observation deck of the Votobjevy Hills the celebrations were continued on the territory of the Bike-Centre in the evening. Awards in different nominations were granted on the stage. During this awarding ceremony the prizes in the nomination "The most graceful girl- motorcyclist" were presented to the winners by Nadja Yakhnich and Natalya Lubimova who in her turn had won the first prize in a similar competition 10 years before. Having awarded the most beautiful girls-motorcyclists, the pilots congratulated all the bikers on the start of the new motor-season and presented a special gift to the leader of "Night wolves" Alexander Khirurg.
The partner of "Yakhnich Motorsport" the Russian State Insurance Company "ROSGOSSTAKH" presented to the leader of the "Wolves" its house gift - a huge black bat with an eagle and inscription "You've done it right!". The president of the motor-club was undoubtedly grateful for the gift and mentioned that it was just the thing he had lacked in his collection. Besides that Khirurg got an exclusive calendar "The best PILOTESSE of Russia" from "Yakhnich Motorsport".
We would like to make a special mention of the organizers and personally Alexander Khirurg who created this really spectacular show! The size of the event was really impressive: a lot of people, excellent music from the positive "Prikluchenija Electronikov", a sea of lights, a fire-show with virtuosic drummers whose beating accompanied the firework volleys+It was a really cool show! "Yakhnich Motorsport" thanks its friends from the club "Night wolves" and wishes everybody a safe and interesting season!
