Yakhnich Motorsport riders talks about Moto-Park 2013

The past weekend Vladimir Leonov #65 and Sam Lowes #11 (riders of Russian team which presents Russia on the World Championship World Supersport) became guests of the annual motorcycle exhibition MotoPark 2013 in Moscow.

On stand E22 which was in style of the box of the Russian team was presented the replica of Leonov’s bike. YMS Promotion Ltd. (organizer of Russian round of the championship World Superbike) sold tickets to the biggest sporting event in Russia for the special price.

On Saturday and Sunday on stand “Panavto” riders had met with their fans, also took part in lots of autograph and photo sessions. On Sunday Sam Lowes and Vladimir Leonov awarded prizes for winners of competitions which was organized by magazine “Moto” .

Vladimir Leonov: “To be honest, I didn’t expect to meet so many fans. It was amazing that there were people of age and it’s nice that they are interested in motorsport. I hope that I would make my fans glad during the second round of the World Superbike in Aragon.”

Sam Lowes: “I like Russia. I’ve seen a lot in spite of staing here only for 3 days. We have active programme, I’ve even been on the karting. t was surprise for me that in Russia is held motorcycle exhibitions in such high level. A lot of visitors, interest in World Superbike and in our team, a lot of English-speaking people – all this helped me to understand this great country and got the Russian spirit. I hope that my next visit will be longer.”
