Yakhnich Motorsport riders are not aliens in Spain

The final pre-event of the season for the eni FIM Superbike World Championship took place today at the SBK Paddock Show and marked the official return of the series to the twisty and spectacular Circuito de Jerez after an absence of 20 years.
The track is known for its collaboration with Grand-Prix championship and all members of the press conference noticed that this circuit is good for motoracing.
Supersport and STK-600 classes were presented with two Yakhnich Motorsport riders. New world champion of the Supersport class Sam Lowes was risen in applause. Dakota Mamola said that he would speak with fans in their native language – Spanish.

Sam Lowes: "I think Spaniards have a great progress in all aspects of motorsport. The level of TV broadcast of MotoGP is incredible. Superbike became popular." 
    Dakota Mamola: "No doubt, Spain is a great moto country. There are a lot of circuits and one of them is Jerez de la Frontera. There are a lot of strong riders here. I'm sure this track will be the most spectaculars for moto racing. Our mission is to make this category as popular as the GP. For all of it!"

The historical day has come. The Russian team Yakhnich Motorsport and Sam Lowes have won the World Championship. Here, in Magny-Cours, Sam Lowes took the champion statuette ahead the time finishing on the second place in the penultimate stage of the World Supersport.
