Lowes and Leonov started this weekend with great dispatch

The first day of the last round eni FIM World Superbike 2013 in the Supersport class ended with the battle between Yakhnich Motorsport. Sam Lowes and Vladimir Leonov preliminary took 1 and 2 positions in the Circuito de Jerez.

 During morning practice Lowes and Leonov caught great temp and occupied positions in TOP-3. New world champion – Lowes started to make best laps from the 3 minute in FP1. They leaded the way working under different aims. Leonov's best time on the morning session - 1'44''37. On the practice he improved this result and made new best lap - 1'44''269. Five minutes to the flag Sam accelerated to 1'44''043.

Sam Lowes: «Today was a very good day. All day we worked only with one tires. Me made 22 laps without loosing the temp. This mean that tomorrow with new tires we will improve our result. It doesn't matter what the weather will be tomorrow. On Sunday the weather will be the same. I feel very gently as the battle for the title has already completed for me.»

 

Leonov's team is ready to fight for the pole-position. The start from the first line will be great start for the last race of this season.
