The team Yakhnich Motorsport perfect completed this season of the World Supersport also won the last race in the Circuito de Jerez.
Sam Lowes spent one more spectacular duel with Kenan Sofuoglu where he has proved his superiority. Two laps before finish the Brit began to outrun and finished with 2 sec advantage.
Vladimir Leonov took the great start being together with his teammate in the first turn. In the following link of turns he got out in the gravel because of problems with brakes. He has lost 30 positions but got out on the track. Half of the race he tried to return his leading position. He was on the 8th place on the 17 lap. On last lap Morais overtook Leonov so Vladimir finished on the 9th place. In riders standings he takes 10 position with 63 points.

 

Sam Lowes showed incredible output on his Yamaha YZF-R6 during this season. His bike is creation of Yakhnich Motorsport engineers. This season consisted of 13 stages where Sam Lowes had 9 pole-positions. He had 11 podiums – 6 first places and 5 second. The battle between Kenan and Sam lasted nine months but the advantage was on our side so to the 12th stage we came with a margin of 49 points. In Magny-Cours he was on the second place but got the title of the champion and in Jerez de la Frontera he won and dot this sport.
