The team Yakhnich Motorsport visited the children's home

Yesterday the team Yakhnich Motorsport  came to see foster children of the orphanage-school Orekhovo-Zuyevo. The cash from the auction of the original souvenir plates painted by riders of the FIM World Superbike Championship was donated to the account of this school. Media event took place on Moscow Raceway before Russian stage of the World Superbike Championship 19 – 21 July 2013. Plates were painted by riders of Superbike and Supersport classes – Vladimir Leonov, Sam Lowes, Carlos Checa, Jonathan Rea, Eugene Laverty, Leon Camier, Chaz Davies, Loris Baz and Eduard Blokhin.

Vladimir Leonov, Nataliya Lyubimova and Anton Bogdanov came to childrens with stories about the championship, motorsport and tales from their life. There was communication, video, answers on questions and competitions with gifts.

Nataliya Lyubimova: “I was glad to meet and talk to all children. 43 children and adolescents aged from 5 to 16 years came to meet us. We had wonderful time together. I hope we will remember the joy after dialog. It was funny to 6 years old children in my racing suit and helmet when they took part in the relay on scooters.”

Vladimir Leonov: “It was my first experience. I have never taken part in such activities and never communicated with children with such difficult fate. I was a little bit scared in the beginning but their interest, their smiles impressed me very much. To tell everything about motorsport and race at once is impossible. I tried to tell about many things and answered on questions.”

Yakhnich Motorsport bought washing machine and stove with 6 rings for the kitchen.

We thank the administration for the opportunity to interact with children and for their hard and important work.
