Start of the Russian Championship in Minimotorcycle Racing

Last weekend the Moscow cart-circuit "Leader" hosted the first stage of the Russian Championship in Minimotorcycle Racing where sportsmen of both sexes took part. The victory in the female event was gained by the pilot of Yakhnich Motorsport Junior Team Nika Kletsky.

Already from the first lap of the race the spectators could witness the beautiful and tense struggle with a sequence of overtaking maneuvers resulted in position changing. Nika started very well having left a lot of rivals behind but her unfortunate fall didn't let her finish the first heat successfully. However, in spite of this fact, the racer of Yakhnich Motorsport Junior Team demonstrated her real sport character. Nika was able to summon up her strength, take into consideration all the mistakes and starting from the last position to pull ahead and enter into the fierce struggle for the high seventh position in the general rating. Finally the young sportswoman managed to hold the position and at the same time to become the winner among women. We congratulate Nika on her successful debut!
