From 21.th to the 11.th place.. 10 position in 12 laps... If numbers couls speacks, they would tell us the story of the perfect race of Sergey Vlasov, today in Misano. Yesterday we wrote about the very good work of Sergey in qualyfing, obtaining the 21.th position inside the group A of the most difficoult trophy in the world. Today we must write that the work in qualyfing session had as target to fix a new set-up of the bike to allow him to improve easily the rithm... Well, after a standard start, in which Vlasov maintened the 21.th position, he stars to be more and more in confidence with the new bike setting, and lap by lap, overtaking competitors every lap, his ritm wen to 1’44”, then to 1’43”8, 1’43”5... up to the fantastic 1’43”070 he had at the first lap without fighting with competitors... A fantastic race, that allowed him to attach even the 10.th place in last lap, unfortunatly without success... As well as we can remember, very few times a rookie in the history of this championship was able to be so close to the winner and so fast in the race. His fast lap his the 7.th abosolute in the race, at only 0,5 second to the fastest one! A race to remember for all Yakhnich Motorsport team, a perfecet starting point for the rest of championship...

Claudo Corsetti Team manager “Before the race I sayd to Sergey: “Use the race as the final act of this training week-end. Take your rithm, do your way, ad you will show us 1’43”, that’s the target we must reach”. Yeas, I was expecting that result, but I wasn’t expecting such an enthusiast race, such an enthusiast result. Sergey on the track and mechanics at box made the “perfect work”. Onestly, I was dreaming to finish in the first 15.th position, but being 11.th, attaching the 10.th in the last lap and having a so fast rithm now allow us to dream something more for the next races of the season”.
