YMS Promotion Ltd and Moscow Raceway have signed a contract of holding the Russian stage World Superbike 2012

The Company YMS Promotion Ltd, the official organizer of the Russian stage of World Superbike from 2012 to 2021, has signed the contract with Moscow Raceway – the first Russian race circuit designed for any motorsport events including Formula 1 Grand Prix and World Superbike.
The first Russian stage in the 25-year-old history of World Superbike takes place at the auto-motordrome Moscow Raceway on 26 August 2012.

“Our circuit is perfect for holding competitions of such level as World Superbike/ Moscow Raceway possesses a full-fledged infrastructure for any level events – there are 30 000 fixed seats for the audience, equipped VIP-boxes and conference-halls, the best special electronics for sport competitions/ Besides that the track allows 17 different configurations, from the point of view of motorsport – it is an extremely interesting facility”, says the project manager Ekaterina Beltsevich. – “We are ready to host the stage of World Superbike in 2012, the construction of the track is being finished”.

YMS Promotion Ltd CEO Alexander Yakhnich adds: “We are very glad that the first in the history Russian stage of World Superbike will take place at the motordrome Moscow Raceway, not far from Moscow. In the nearest half-a-year we are to do a pile of work connected with organization of the Russian stage of World Superbike which takes place on 26 August 2012. In co-operation with Moscow Raceway we will do our best for making this debut stage of the world motor-racing series an unforgettable event not only for spectators and fans but also for foreign guests and participants”.

The contract, according to which the Company YMS Promotion Ltd becomes the organizer of the Russian stage of World Superbike for 10 years, was signed in Rome on 22 September 2011 together with the Company Infront Motorsports – the official promoter of World Superbike.
