Beautiful and open battle between Sam Lowes and Kenan Sofuoglu we saw today in Intercity Istanbul Park Circuit. The Yakhnich Motorsport rider made everything to get the title of the champion here in Turkey but Turkish rider couldn’t let it be on his home track. 

The weather in Istanbul was not so good in the night from Friday to Saturday was cold and it started to rain. That was the reason to stop the  free practice of the WSS moving the hour. When the sun appeared in the Intercity Istanbul Park the pit lane was opened on 20 minutes.

This is the first time in the history whan World Superbike and Supersport classes hold on the Turkish track Intercity Istanbul Park. The Yakhnich Motorsport rider Sam Lowes was the absolute leader of the WSS, Vladimir Leonov had technical problems and couldn’t show good result.

Sam Lowes triumphed the race in the Nürburgring and made a decisive step to become the champion this season.

Both riders of the Russian team Yakhnich Motorsport will start tomorrow from the leader position: Sam Lowes got the 8^th pole-position on the 11 stage and Vladimir Leonov will start from the 4^th place.  

The first day of the 10 stage of the World Supersport was good for the team Yakhnich Motorsport as Sam took his provisional pole-position and Vladimir – 4^th. 

The race in Silverstone was too hard for the team Yakhnich Motorsport because of strong feelings for her riders

The second race of the UK round went really fantastic for the Yakhnich Motorsport rider Dakota Mamola. 

Races of the 8^th round of World Superbike Championship (Supersport and 2^nd stage of Superbike) were officially stopped and then cancelled due to the tragic incident that happened at the very beginning of WSS race, resulting in interrupted life of Italian motorsport rising star Andrea Antonelli.
